This blog features lectures from IEE 475 (Simulating Stochastic Systems), a modeling course for engineers at Arizona State University. The lectures here are given by Ted Pavlic, an Associate Professor in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence and the School of Life Sciences.

The course covers simulation of stochastic systems, with a particular focus on discrete event system (DES) simulation.

This is a standard undergraduate course for Industrial Engineering students, but it may be useful for others interested in the combination of mathematics, statistics, and programming for effective simulation studies.
